About these terms
These terms cover your use of CaseHelp, run by Mortgage Social Pro Limited ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
Who can use CaseHelp
- CaseHelp is for advisers, trainees and admin staff at FCA-authorised firms and their appointed representatives.
- You must give true details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
- We check advisers on the FCA register at sign-up and each month. We may suspend any account that no longer matches.
- One account per person. Do not share your log in.
CaseHelp is not advice
Replies on CaseHelp are views from other users. They are not advice from us. You stay fully responsible for the advice you give your clients and for checking lender and insurer criteria yourself. We do not give advice to the public.
Client data
- You must never post anything that could identify a client.
- That includes names, dates of birth, addresses, postcodes, phone numbers, emails, policy, account or application numbers and employer names that point to a person.
- Medical details are allowed only in general terms.
- You are responsible for anonymising your case. Our checks help, but they do not replace your own care.
Posting rules
- Be fair and polite. You can talk about lenders and insurers, but do not abuse named people.
- No adverts, recruiting or selling in cases or replies.
- Do not post anything unlawful, false or that breaks someone else's rights.
- Do not try to find out who another user is.
Moderation
We can hide or remove any post, and warn, suspend or close any account, if we think the rules have been broken. A suspended adviser cannot sign up again with the same IRN.
Your content
You own what you post. You give us a free, ongoing licence to show it on CaseHelp, keep it in search after you leave and use it in anonymised, grouped form to improve the service.
Advertising
CaseHelp shows labelled sponsored content. Sponsored content is not a recommendation from us. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads.
Our liability
We provide CaseHelp as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or error free. We are not liable for any loss caused by relying on a reply from another user. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in settings. We may close accounts that break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
